If you want to work with me, it's as simple as filling in a quick questionnaire- I'll make sure we're a good fit & contact you within 48 hours!
You'll fill in 2 design & strategy questionnaires and send me photos, videos, or website inspo! Then get cozy- we'll take 30-60 minutes on the morning of your Website in a Day or the first day of your Website in a Week to go over your questionnaires. I'll share initial design ideas and get your sign off on direction or get more clarity on your vision!

The process is simple- after you inquire about working together here, I'll contact you within 48 hours with more details and availability. 

I'll send you a custom link to book your project, schedule your build, and select a payment plan. Then, you'll get access to your SO Digital + Design Client Portal, where you'll fill in 2 questionnaires and add any photos or videos you want me to have for the website. 

For Website in a Day, when your scheduled day arrives, we run on an organized schedule from 9-6, starting with a 30-60 minute kick off call so I can get to know you, your brand, & your vibe! From there it's smooth sailing for you: I design the site, send it to you for review and revisions throughout the day, and by 6PM, your website is complete! For Website in a Week, the process is lengthened to 7 days to accommodate more complex functionality and larger websites.

I build your website on Showit- a web design and hosting platform that allows me total creative freedom to build you a custom desktop and mobile website, all with a drag-and-drop interface that you can easily update and maintain when your business grows or changes! It integrates with WordPress for easy blogging and SEO, and you won't need to know a single line of code. 

I’ve used Wix, WordPress, and Squarespace and none of them compared. After we launch your website and part ways, you can be confident that with Showit, you'll be able to scale your website alongside your business. You'll even have access to live chat support from Showit and a massive library of help content if you need help after our project is complete. 

Yes! Your website will be fully optimized for both desktop and mobile with a responsive design. I also optimize your site speed, which is critical for both SEO and user experience.

Your website is launched with healthy SEO, including optimal site speed and optimized meta descriptions, title tags, alt text, and on page SEO. However, SEO is an ongoing project and needs care and nurturing. Two huge factors of SEO are the site's age and the addition of new high-value, search-optimized content for crawling (this is why I HIGHLY recommend adding on our affordable SEO Blogging Starter pack to your website project). 

After every project wraps, I send my client a list of recommendations for maintaining their site moving forward, including creating a free Google Search Console account, submitting their site map, blogging consistently and correctly, and creating a free Google Analytics account to monitor their website performance. These tips are yours to take or leave, but I'm passionate about setting you up for  success and hope you find them helpful! 

You don't pay me a single cent more than the flat rate listed for the website package that you select (unless you decide you'd like additional services, like adding on a 3-blog starter pack for SEO)! Unlike most web designers, I do not believe in charging by the hour and leaving you uncertain about the final cost. 

However, know that there are 2 reoccurring costs that come with having a website of any kind that you pay directly to that provider:

1. The cost of your domain name (I personally pay $10 a year for my domain name from GoDaddy to give you an idea of the cost), and
2. Your website hosting account (when you work with me, your web hosting account is Showit)! All website platforms have a hosting fee. If you have an ecommerce site, you are also responsible for your Shopify or Square account fees. 

With Showit, the packages I typically recommend to my clients are between $228 and $288 per year (or $19-24 per month). Read the details of each package carefully to be sure to pick the right one for you. For example, if you need a blog on your website, be sure to pick a package that includes blogging capabilities.

You are responsible for your domain name and website hosting fees and can check current pricing for Showit at https://showit.com/pricing. 

Website in a Day is for the growing biz with a dream. You're in a service-based business and are ready to build a foundation that speaks for your authenticity, professionalism, and vibe. No more novice branding or DIY website! This fast-tracked, high-value, one-day experience will take you from 'who's the newbie?' to 'who's this game-changer?' in under 24 hours.

For my people with more complex businesses or websites, like those needing ecommerce integration or wanting a more elaborate design, Website in a Week is for you! You want to be seen, listened to, and sought after. So you're ready for a brand and website that makes you a household-freaking-name! That's what this high-touch, all-in-one, completely-custom experience is all about. 

There's flexibility within each of my website packages for certain integrations. Our most common integrations are Shopify, Square, Mindbody, Flodesk, and Mailchimp. However, unless the integration is less complex (like adding custom code for a Flodesk email sign up form/lead magnet or embedding buttons that link to existing Shopify or Etsy stores or products), you must select our Website in a Week package. Website in a Day is a jam packed, buzzer beater experience, and there isn't time for more complex integrations. 

To maintain the high level of functionality and design standards that I'm committed to creatively, I can only work with integrations that I'm experienced in. If it's one that I'm not familiar with, I'm happy to point you in the right direction after the website build of someone who may be able to help. If you need a particular integration, please mention it in your inquiry! 

While you can open the doors of your business without creating a website first, it'll be difficult to sustain and scale your business without one.

It's useful, but you can get kicked off at a moment's notice, algorithms change, & advertising rules are at the whim of the corporation.
